You know what all these guys have in common..... THEY WERE UNDRAFTED PLAYERS WHO FOUND THEIR NICHE AND WERE ABLE TO CAPITALIZE. Don't get me wrong, the chances of you finding a player who will turn into an All-Star along the likes of Ben Wallace is very slim, but you can find a decent role player.
So with that being said, the Exec Committee would like to introduce the "BEN WALLACE MOCK DRAFT CHALLENGE". The winner will receive an untradeable additional selection at the end of the 2nd round of this year's FFD Rookie Draft (Pick 61). To participate, simply post below a mock of the first round of the NBA draft by an hour before it begins on Thursday, June 20th (7PM US ET). You can edit your mocks as many times as you'd like until 7PM ET on Thursday, June 20th.
Scoring System
1 point for each player named who went at any point in the first round. 2 ADDITIONAL points for getting a "direct hit" and predicting exactly what spot a player goes at. Note that the team does not matter, so you can theoretically incorporate trades into your mock without stating so. The tiebreak will be the latest direct hit in your mock (so getting a direct hit on the last pick would be ideal).
This years draft order is:
1. New Orleans
2. Memphis
3. New York
4. New Orleans (from Los Angeles Lakers)
5. Cleveland
6. Phoenix
7. Chicago
8. Atlanta
